ARPS resolution and precommitment update

I’m aware that I’ve already fallen three articles behind in my pledge to read and blog about two ARPS articles per week. That amounts to a week and a half away from the project, which not coincidentally is how long I had to do the final copy edits and text tweaks for Rationalism, Pluralism, and Freedom, coming soon to a bookstore near you in all its 145,000-word, 34-manuscript-page-bibliography glory. (That was a lot of copy editing, is what I’m getting at here.) Both blogging and summer resolutions took a back seat.

But I intend to get back on track, which will mean an average of three posts per week for the next three weeks. I figured that saying so out loud would help strengthen my will to carry through.

Besides, Captain Bligh Zwolinski has been cracking the whip to keep the posts a-coming, and Skwire has been tasked with enforcement of the quota with a bladed weapon. Under the rules, this post discussing a future intention to post counts, so I’ve bought myself some breathing room…
