Hut, Hut, Hayek!

Tonight’s Hall of Fame exhibition game marks the beginning of US football season (the crazy Canadians are already underway, what with their ice-cold summers and 110 yard [why not meters?] fields, 12 men, 3 downs, old school goalposts, and the mysterious single).  In the spirit of the upcoming regular season, my friends at the Institute for Humane Studies have asked me to put together a Learn Liberty Academy program on Fantasy Football and Economics.  Between August 11th and 17th, participants will work their way through a series of instructional videos (including me in my Lions jersey hanging out in my mancave) and participate in a Facebook discussion group all designed to use Fantasy Football as a way to teach some basic concepts in economics.  You can go watch the promo video and then you can register here.

There’s no age limit, so students of economics of all ages can feel free to join.  Hope to see you there!
