While I work on my symposium replies

I’ll remind readers that Rationalism, Pluralism, and Freedom is suddenly timely: it discusses the tensions within the Anglican Communion that have now resulted in the Episcopal Church’s suspension from full communion over the issue of same-sex marriage, as well as the history of the fascinating governance structure of Anglicanism.

The discussion is admittedly brief and in the service of other points, but, well, political theorists with interests in the history of political thought and in ecclesiology have to take our “grabbed from the headlines!” moments where we can get them.
