Its unfortunate that people fail to recognize the benefits of immigration.  Its incredibly unfortunate that some who call themselves "libertarians" are in that camp.   Open economic borders are clearly required for a truly free market.  They are also perhaps the single best way to help people in poor countries since remittances do far more good than government to government transfers (perhaps esp. when those come with strings attached–as they usually do).
