Libertarianism, Book/Article Reviews
Reading Rothbard
As part of my research for the book I’m writing with John Tomasi on the history of libertarian thought,I’m re-reading Murray Rothbard’s The Ethics of Liberty. It’s a thought-provoking book, and one that perhaps doesn’t get as much attention among movement libertarians as Rothbard’s other, more popular work. And it’s a book that contains a lot of ideas that are highly relevant to the BHL project, at least as an illustrative contrast.
So I thought I’d invite you all to read the book with me. I can’t promise posts on every chapter, but I’ll share what thoughts I do have as I go along, starting later this week with the introduction by Hans-Hermann Hoppe.
