For those of you interested in the nonideal/ideal theory debate in political philosophy (the one Jacob has just written a lovely paper about), I thought I’d let you know that Bowling Green State University is hosting a conference on the subject in three weeks (sadly no Jacob, but we do have Jerry Gaus and David Estlund!). Registration is still open if you’re able to attend. We’ll make the papers available when the authors are ready. We’re hoping to collect them in a volume. The line-up is great, and I expect the papers to advance the discussion.
