A recent WaPo article had this shrill headline:  “Majority of Millennials Now Reject Capitalism, Poll Shows.”

I thought that was (at least) misleading as a way of interpreting the data.  I understand that if the headline writers at the WaPo actually understood data and stats, they’d have better jobs than working at the WaPo.  So it’s a bit unfair to criticize, I suppose.

Still, the underlying beliefs, regardless of quibbles about data, are also problematic.  So I wrote this as a response on both issues….
