Liberty Matters symposium on Rationalism, Pluralism, and Freedom

There’s a symposium on Rationalism, Pluralism, and Freedom starting today at Liberty Fund’s “Liberty Matters.” It will be continuing over the next couple of weeks. As befits the host site, the emphasis will be a bit more on the historical argument of the book than was the case for the BHL symposium. (Other reviews and discussions are available here.) Commentators will include Chandran Kukathas (LSE), Jeremy Jennings (KCL), and BHL co-blogger Gary Chartier (La Sierra).

For anyone who’s interested in in-person discussion of the book, there will be an event at the University of Chicago’s Seminary Co-op bookstore Saturday, May 14, at 2:30 pm; I’ll be joined in conversation there by Douglas Baird of the University of Chicago Law School. RSVPs are appreciated.
